The Cardio Clinic located in The Vista Primary Care Campus is Ireland’s first community based, full-service cardiac screening and diagnostics centre. A primary focus of the clinic is to bring cardiac care back into the community.

The Cardio Clinic is a dedicated heart clinic run by a multi-disciplinary team of cardiac professionals, including consultant cardiologists, clinical physiologists, nursing and administrative staff.

The Cardio Clinic offers state of the art diagnostic non invasive investigations.  These include:  

• ECG
• Exercise Stress Testing
• Doppler Echocardiography
• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Holter Monitoring
• B-Type natriuretic peptide test

The benefits of the service available at the clinic are:

1. Timely cardiovascular assessment improves patient outcomes and empowers GP management of cardiovascular risk.
2. Identification of structural heart disease in asymptomatic patients.
3. A Heart Failure prevention service which identifies a high-risk patient group likely to benefit from intensive GP and specialist programme.

All appointments to the clinic are by GP referral only.
