Introduction

The Cardio Clinic was set up in February 2009 to bring cardiac care back into the community alongside GP practice. It offers private cardiology services to all General Practitioners. 

The Cardio Clinic is a dedicated heart clinic run by a multi-disciplinary team of cardiac professionals, including consultant cardiologists, clinical physiologists, nursing and administrative staff.

Currently there are five consultant cardiologists associated with the clinic:

• Dr. Robert Kelly 
• Dr Dermot McCaffrey 
• Dr David Moore 
• Dr. Dan O'Gorman

The clinic offers state of the art diagnostic non invasive investigations. These include:  

• ECG
• Exercise Stress Testing
• Doppler Echocardiography
• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Holter Monitoring
• B-Type natriuretic peptide test

All concerning test reports will be promptly relayed to you, with advice on further evaluation if considered appropriate.  Results can be emailed or faxed as required.
