The Cardio Clinic & Vista host GP Open Day & Study Clinic

The Cardio Clinic and Vista Primary Care hosted a GP Open Day and Study Clinic on Saturday, 12th September from 1.00 until 4.15 pm. This represented a great opportunity for GPs throughout the country to see first hand the excellent services on offer at the Campus.

There was a packed agenda on the day, featuring presenatations from several clinicians associated with Vista Primary. Among those speaking was Prof Ken Mc Donald, one of the Cardiologists associated with the Cardio Clinic, who spoke about "Earliest detection and management of Heart Failure". Prof. McDonald highlighted the need for earlier detection of heart problems in the community setting, and in particular, spoke about the value of BNP tests, which are critical in the early diagnosis of heart failure.

GPs also had the opportunity to walk around the clinic and see first hand, the services and facilities available at the Primary Care Campus.

The day was very well attended and the feedback from those present was excellent.

If you would have liked to attend but were unable to, please contact us and we can arrange for you to come in anytime and see the Cardio Clinic for yourself.
